Diesel gensets banned in Delhi-NCR from October 15 as GRAP enforced

Covid is still in the air, and now the air itself is turning toxic. With air quality plummeting to "poor" in Delhi this week, the Supreme Courtappointed Environment Pollution (Prevention and Control) Authority (EPCA) on Thursday announced measures under the “very poor” to “severe” category of the Graded Response Action Plan (GRAP) to be enforced from October 15. Use of diesel generator sets in Delhi and the other NCR towns of Ghaziabad, Noida, Greater Noida, Faridabad and Gurugram has been banned.
